These Terms govern access to Lorewisp, including Lorewisp Studio, The Lore of the 10 Kingdoms, related websites, software, online worlds, and other services that link to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using Lorewisp, creating an account, joining a waitlist, submitting content, or purchasing a feature, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy and Community Standards. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Lorewisp may update these Terms as the service develops. The updated version applies when posted. Material changes may be announced through the service or by reasonable notice.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You may use Lorewisp only where permitted by applicable law. If you are under the age of majority, you need permission from a parent or legal guardian where required. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising a minor's use and may contact [email protected] about a child's information.
The public Player waitlist and public Alpha selection are limited to adults 18 and older. People under 18 may participate only through separately arranged family-and-friends testing and any eligibility or guardian-consent process required by law.
You are responsible for accurate account information, keeping credentials secure, and all activity under your account. Do not share an account, sell access, impersonate another person, or create an account after a restriction unless Lorewisp authorizes it.
Lorewisp may request information needed to verify eligibility, ownership, safety, or authorization. We may restrict or close an account where required by law or where information cannot be reasonably verified.
3. Limited license to access the service
Lorewisp grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the service for its intended purposes. You are receiving permission to use a service, not ownership of Lorewisp, its software, worlds, databases, or content.
Except where law does not allow a restriction, you may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, extract, distribute, rent, sell, lease, frame, scrape, or create derivative services from Lorewisp or bypass technical controls.
4. Conduct and community expectations
You must follow these Terms, the Community Standards, applicable law, and rules shown in a particular Lore or event. Prohibited conduct includes harassment, hate or threats, exploitation, fraud, scams, cheating, botting, unauthorized automation, exploit abuse, security attacks, real-money trading, and behavior that places children or other users at risk.
Lorewisp may review reports and available service information, remove content, restrict communications, disable features, suspend accounts, or permanently terminate access. Enforcement decisions may consider context, severity, history, safety, and legal obligations.
5. User-generated content
You retain ownership of original content you create, to the extent you own it and applicable law recognizes that ownership. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit it and for ensuring it does not violate law, these Terms, or another person's rights.
When you submit or make content available through Lorewisp, you grant Lorewisp a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, host, copy, reproduce, store, modify, adapt, translate, display, publish, distribute, perform, create derivative works from, and incorporate that content into official or community-facing Lorewisp content, in any media now known or later developed.
This license applies to lore, stories, quests, names, territories, Lores, structures, blueprints, artwork, screenshots, designs, suggestions, feedback, ideas, and community submissions. You agree that Lorewisp does not owe compensation, royalties, revenue sharing, profit sharing, attribution, or an ownership interest because of these uses. Where legally required, you grant the rights necessary to achieve these purposes and consent to reasonable modifications.
Lorewisp may remove, restrict, archive, rename, or decline to publish content. We do not promise to store, display, preserve, or return submitted content.
6. Lores, territories, and virtual property
Characters, territories, settlements, structures, land claims, properties, blueprints, virtual currency, rankings, progression, achievements, cosmetics, Lore data, world data, and other game assets are part of the Lorewisp service. You do not own them, and they have no cash value outside the service unless Lorewisp expressly states otherwise.
Lorewisp may merge, consolidate, retire, archive, reset, modify, or delete Lores; reclaim inactive territory claims; remove inactive structures; archive inactive content; change world generation; and rebalance game systems. These actions may occur with or without notice and without compensation.
A purchase of a Lore creation or founder feature grants access to described service features only. It does not transfer intellectual property, create ownership or control over Lorewisp, guarantee a particular design or population, or guarantee perpetual operation.
7. Payments, subscriptions, and founder programs
Lorewisp may offer early access, founder programs, subscriptions, promotional pricing, Lore creation services, or cosmetic and convenience benefits. Prices, billing periods, taxes, renewal terms, and included features will be shown before purchase and may change for future purchases.
Payments may be processed by Stripe or another payment provider. You authorize the applicable provider to charge the selected payment method. You must not use a payment method without authorization. Refunds are handled under the offer terms, applicable law, and the provider's rules; access may be removed when a payment is reversed, disputed, or refunded.
Subscriptions may renew until canceled where recurring billing is offered. Canceling stops future charges but may not refund a current period unless required by law or the offer terms.
8. Service evolution and availability
Lorewisp is an evolving online service. Features may be added, changed, rebalanced, removed, or replaced. Game progress may be modified, archived, lost, reset, or deleted. An entire service, Lore, program, or feature may be suspended, retired, or discontinued. You acknowledge these risks, including during alpha, beta, testing, maintenance, or early access.
We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or permanently available access. Maintenance, outages, security events, third-party failures, moderation, and circumstances beyond our reasonable control may affect access.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Lorewisp at any time. Lorewisp may suspend, limit, or terminate an account or license immediately when reasonably necessary for safety, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, payment issues, breach of these Terms, or protection of the service and community.
After termination, your license ends and you may lose access to content, progress, virtual property, and account data. Sections that by their nature should continue, including ownership, licenses, disclaimers, limits of liability, indemnity, and dispute terms, survive termination.
10. Intellectual property
Lorewisp and its licensors own the service, software, branding, visual identity, world data, official content, and other materials not owned by users. These Terms grant no rights except the limited license expressly stated. Feedback may be used without restriction or payment.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lorewisp provides the service and all content on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, or uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that law does not permit us to exclude.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lorewisp and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, progress, or virtual property. Our total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Lorewisp for the relevant service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or 100 US dollars, except where law requires otherwise.
12. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lorewisp and its service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, unlawful conduct, submitted content, or misuse of the service.
13. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Lorewisp is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory law requires another result. Before bringing a claim, please contact [email protected] so we can try to resolve it.
For general questions, contact [email protected]. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. These Terms and the documents they incorporate form the agreement about the service and replace prior statements about the same subject.
